Eribulin, sold under the brand name Halaven among others, is an intravenously administered anti-cancer medication used to treat certain patients with breast cancer and liposarcoma. Eribulin was approved for medical use in the United States in November 2010, the European Union in March 2011, Japan in April 2011, and Canada in December 2011. It is available in some jurisdictions as a generic medication.
